Welcome to Kraken Arms!  We are committed to providing quality firearms training in Northern Virginia. 

The unpredictability of recent years has prompted many Americans to rethink their relationship with firearms.  Maybe you just want to try out shooting to see what it's like; maybe you are considering purchasing your first firearm; maybe you are a new gun owner but aren't quite sure where to start; or maybe you are considering finally obtaining a concealed handgun permit for that pistol you have long owned. 

Regardless of what category you fall into, you are putting yourself at risk without training from a qualified instructor.  That training should go well beyond just HOW to shoot; it should also include WHEN to shoot, and even more importantly when NOT to shoot.  You need to understand the risks; they are not only physical, but also legal, financial, and ethical.   You owe it to yourself, your family, and your community to be a competent and responsible gun owner.  Again, even if you choose not to go with Kraken Arms, we urge you to seek professional instruction.

That said, we certainly hope you choose Kraken Arms for that training!  We aim (pun intended) to keep the stress LOW and the fun HIGH.  Through a mix of instruction both on and off the range, we will assess your skills and progressively build up from there.  We’ll develop you into a better, safer, more knowledgeable, and more confident gun owner.
